Batch 93 Learner
It is very fortunate and a pleasure for myself, to have been recommended by a friend to Pioneer Training. I live at SengKang, and some may ask why I come all the way to the west for Pioneer? When clearly there are some other ACPs which are closer to me.
So here is why. It was mentioned to me that Pioneer Training is one of the better ACP around. So without second thought, I registered and took up the night classes. True enough, Pioneer is one which provides highly comprehensive coursework content, which includes online revision on MCQ SAQ and Case Studies, you are also provided with a THICK THICK Learner's guide which may scare you away initially but later on makes you realize you want more. These are going to keep you very very busy most of the time.
On top of that, it was a blessing to have being taught by the lecturers who are active real estate industry experts. They are always helpful, patient and willing to share their valuable experiences with us. Some of these sharing are not what you can read out from text book. Also not forgetting the class mates whom I have studied with. Without active and constant discussions with them, I wouldn't have made it at one go. I owe these people a big big favor. Thank you all of you.
So our ways of studying, nothing special and nothing much.
- Make time to study, can't stress this enough. Over the weekend, make discussions at a study corner with your peers, trash out all the doubts and questions, clarify them right away. Unable to study outside? Go download Team Viewer software, hold video meetings to discuss. It sounds exaggerating, yes it does but it works.
- Do not just do plain reading and then jump to next point. Discuss over a topic EXTENSIVELY, over and over again, break them down further to understand more. Your legal terms, the Policies, the Estate Agency Acts, Government rulings. Find logical reasons why these are in placed or implemented. In this way, it will drill hard into your brain. In the simplest form, it is like why do one drink water? It is possibly so that he is thirsty. You don't have to even memorize.
- Wherever you are, you will have access to your smart devices. Do the online quizzes, expose yourself to a lot of them.
- Faced with a question and not knowing the answer, quickly ask your friends on whatsapp before you forget what to ask. Check your friends' response later. To ask is also giving a chance for your peers to learn.
It is going to challenging, but have a lot of faith in yourself.
Thank you Pioneer and good luck to all future participants.
Cheers~
